Energy Skate Park: Basics is a highly popular, interactive educational simulation developed by PhET Interactive Simulations at the University of Colorado Boulder. Designed to introduce beginners to the fundamental laws of physics, it allows users to manipulate a skateboarder on various tracks to visualize how kinetic energy, potential energy, and thermal energy interact under the Law of Conservation of Energy.
Because it is built on modern HTML5, it runs directly in any web browser without requiring downloads or special plugins. The Three Simulation Modules
